Preventing Burglaries - Pyrénées -Atlantiques Gendarmerie
VigiCambri64 is an application developed by a team from the EISTI engineering school in Pau (64) as part of the "Prevavnir 2015" competition organized by the Pyrénées-Atlantiques gendarmerie group. Its main objective is to provide an additional tool in the fight against burglaries in the department of Pyrénées-Atlantiques. She proposes to consolidate the link between the gendarmerie and the citizens by allowing them to be actors of their security.
It has the following features:
- Home: Quick access to the most important features of the application;
- News: threads of the anti-cambriolage control;
- Tips: Targeted prevention advice on professionals, individuals and farmers;
- Attentive close close to (alerts): allows you to transmit to the gendarmerie a photograph of a suspicious fact observed by the user. This action must be supplemented by a telephone call to be valid;
- My valuables: allows you to list your valuables by retaining a trace to report their disappearance in the event of burglary. The information on objects consists of three photographs and basic elements (name, value, description, serial number);
- My brigade: allows you to know the closest brigade with location on the default mapping software (Apple Plans, Google Maps, ...);
- Advice to victims: advice to people who come to discover that they have been burgled;
- Useful links: links to websites that count in the fight against burglaries;
- About: general information on the application, information on partners and legal notices);
- Settings: selection of the application language and displayed messages;
- Profiles: Information concerning the user who will be transmitted when sending an "attentive close" alert.
